Grain & Grain Products Strategic Process Realignment (Confidential Client)

Tealinc participated as part of a much larger team of consultants as this six-billion dollar (revenue) company wanted an internal review of its grain buying, processing, selling and transportation processes. Tealinc role was to identify processes that were currently in existence at corporate headquarters, grain handling and processing facilities and for the transportation department. Tealinc than participated with the client and other consultant team to identify and obtain buy-in for the new strategic direction and put processes and measures in place aligning the trading function with the transportation function, essentially reducing the amount of stovepipe department management and developing cross functional team management with a focus on profitability for the company.
